I get an error for some reason...

The error is "Error reading response from server! please try again! if the problem persists, please wait a bit before trying again." It occurred when i tried to login, and also happend when i tried to register in the client-in the configuration wizard when you start the program...
I tried to login about 10-15 times in a period of 5 hours or so and i get the same problem every time. Why can't i login? is there something wrong with the server?

If you can browse the website the client should be able to login.

Are you using the windows firewall or something else that checks HTTP traffic? (like a virus scanner or similar)

No, i disabled all my anti-virus programs and still it's not working, could it be that the problem is with my ISP?

Unlikely, since you're posting on our website..

The config wizard is a piece of crap and needs to be rewritten.

Try making a new account in the config wizard (e.g. ChaosPower1) and see if it lets you get by that screen.

If not, post back.

Once you're past that screen, you shouldn't ever have to redo the config wizard again.

Tried that, same error. The wierd thing is that it dosen't even wait for a reply or something, it simply writes that error, half a second after i click on login. Shoulden't it take more time to recognize that i can't login to the server? After all, the process of finding the server should take some time, no?

If you're on XP, go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\WeGame\

If you're on Vista, go to:

C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\WeGame\

and create a text file called wegame.ini and put the following text between the ==== in it:

WebMode=1
VideoSoftFilter=0
ShowIndicator=1
AutoAdjustMixers=1

Yes, the Password line is blank. Also, make sure to manually create the capture directory you specify.

After you've launched the client and login, click Settings and you can change everything there.
