I assume you have to record the game with no sound, then what? How can you put music in?

well i can tell your new to this so i would suggest using windows movie maker(WMM). It should be under start programs. In that program it lets you edit your video. input audio/music. and you can put in some title/credits or any extra text.

Your question seems to be more directed towards the editing process. You don't have to record your videos without sound. Most movie editors let you mute a clip's audio, so it shouldn't matter whether you have sound on or not while recording.
You can take advantage of this nifty feature and do some cool things with your videos. For example, say you wanted to have the sound effects for the game on, but have your own music on in your videos. To do this, mute the game's music via its options and record. Come the point where you begin editing your program you can go ahead and add in your own music. Wala.
Of course that's just one of the really basic things you can do with video editing. I'm sure if you look around here on the site and on the web you can find a number of resources to help you get into the world of editing. Best of luck with your recordings :)

Or after you record your video with sound on you can use the option in windows movie maker to have more sound from your video, or from your music, or a good even mix of both. It's under the tools tab, and it's a simple slider that comes up and lets you adjust things.
