hello i am new to this and play mario kart wii online all the time and found this site when i came across a recorded in-game video. i was very impressed- i didnt know you could do this!! i am pretty computer-savvy so i figured it shouldnt be too hard to learn how to record my in-game video, but where do i start?? i havent found anything in help to help get me started... i use a laptop and play mario kart online via wireless connection with the main router connected to a desktop pc that is also in my home... how do i get what is on my tv screen onto my computer to record?? should i just start the game and start the client and the wireless connection will automatically pick it up since both my laptop and wii are on the same network?? any help would be so appreciated!! thanx |

WeGame only records PC games at the moment. The video to which you are referring was probably recorded using a capture card and uploaded to our site through our upload form.

Well not necessarily. WeGame is meant to record PC games, not console games. So even if you go out and buy a capture card, the WeGame client isn't going to do you any good in capturing the video from your Wii. In order to dot hat you'll probably have to use some other capture software or whatever software comes with a capture card. After you get your video file to the right format then you can upload it to the WeGame site. Like I said above the actual WeGame program only applies to PC games. So as long as you're trying to record a supported PC Game, you don't need anything else other than your computer the WeGame program and the pc game.

Most Capture Cards output to either: wmv avi mpg So you really don't need to worry about it, as wegame supports all of those. |
