Did you uninstall and close the old WeGame before installing the new one?

Try deleting your WeGame application data and starting up the client again. To find the WeGame app data, navigate to the following location:

First make sure you close WeGame.

Vista Users:
Your logs and stuff are located in:
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\local\wegame

XP Users:
Your logs and stuff are located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\wegame

Replace YOUR USER NAME with, you guessed it, your user name on your computer. Notice how I said computer and not WeGame.

Also, please realize that AppData / Application Data is a hidden folder. This means that you probably won't see it unless you have the ability to see hidden folders. If you can't see the AppData / Application Data folder then please visit the following site to see how to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders:

Once you've found the folder above, delete the logs folder and delete the wegame.ini file.

After doing that restart WeGame and it should run you through the configuration wizard again. Go through that and let us know what happens.

What are you using to record your desktop? Whatever that program is,close it and then try to start WeGame.

I am also getting this error. I deleted the WEGAME files from the documents and settings folders, uninstalled wegame and reinstalled the "new" version. I have had the exact problems as HEFFER appears to have. This is disappointing for the second attempt at using this program. Anyway, I'm going on vacation so maybe it will get fixed by the time I get back.

Well, I was able to get the WEGAME to launch when I installed it on my laptop, but it won't recognize the sound. This makes me think the error is either with installing over the old wegame version or with the soundcard. Just a guess. Too bad all my games are on the desktop ;(
