I can capture video in game and game sound and mic sound fine - the only issue I have is that when I play the video back it is much darker than what I see on-screen when playing the game.
Is there a way to adjust the brightness on playback, or can i do this with some video editing software maybe?
Windows XP - SP2
Intel Core 2 Duo
NVidia 8800 video card 640 Mb
Let me know if you need any more information.
Many thansk.

Sorry to hear that your videos are coming out darker than usual. As far as I know there's no way to adjust this in WeGame yet. However, there are a number of ways that you can increase the brightness of your videos.
Windows Movie Maker has an effect that is suppose to increase brightness, so you could try using that.
If you have access to Premiere you could also increase the brightness via an effect or by placing frames of white over your movie and then adjusting the opacity.
I believe many other free video editors out there also allow for brightness to be adjusted. I believe Virtual Dub should have an option.

Thanks for the reply :)
I don't mind doing this in post production.
The only feature that I would really like to see in WeGame that would help cut down on post production work is the ability to pause and resume recording (like Game Cam).
The good news is that the color in my videos (even though it is dark) is much more natural looking that the old version of Game Cam (and the new version of Game Cam crashes Enemy Territory anyway).
I am very happy that I can record game sound and my mic together.
Thanks again :)

Glad to hear that you're somewhat happy with the client. We'll definitely take into consideration the feature you've mentioned. I'm a little confused by what you mean by pausing and resuming recording. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the same thing effectively achieved in WeGame by pressing the hot key again and again?
Each time you start and stop a recording you create a new video file. Are you saying that you want everything just in one video file instead of multiple?

Yes that is what I meant, that you can record, pause and record again and have one video file instead of multiple files to assemble - that would be very helpful indeed!

Ah' now I understand. Thanks for clarifying! I'll be sure to take note of that request and let our developers know!
