It is possible to record in a better quality than the HD Mode? A very cool program but not good enough for machinima from my point of view. greetings, Sere Sorry for my english ;D

Yea I've actually been wondering about this too. I mean, I guess for my amateur stuff, HD mode is probably fine, but I'm sure it's not quite good enough for other people..

It's something we've looked at in the past, and the implementation just wasn't practical compared to our other priorities and our resources at the time. However, times change, so we'll see what happens in the future :D

Yeah it's understandable. You guys have a lot of stuff that you're working on I'm sure, so you have to pick what you will work on in the future carefully.

What do you mean by quality? Image quality? Higher resolution? We were going to add an option to do raw video output, but even our systems (2.6ghz quadcores, 4gb ram, big fast SATA2 drives) couldn't handle writing that much data to disk. In 640x480, no less. It's something we're still considering, but we have other, more-requested things we're working on at the moment. :)
