I think we need ranks on the groups... like member, master, supreme, owner. and we can customize them too.

We could base it on most posts in the group forums, but the staff can be picked by the leader.

Well the Gamespot groups only have 3 classes:
Group Leader (One who starts the group or his choice)
Group Officers (Chosen by the leader)
Regular Members
Just throwing out that example.

But that would be a bit boring. You could base it off your status on the site. If you're popular, it goes up.

If you ask me...you should only be able to join the group when the group leader accepts yur application. Meaning that the people you get into your group don't always have to be immature...For example, Bill wants to join a Metallica group, i doubt that someone would reject him because as far as i've seen he isn't immature and he is into metal...

Depends on whether the Metallica group includes St Anger as a "good album", and Kirk Hammet as a "good guitarist".

@bapplebo: lawl!
@Dwarfcannon: Well there is the option when making a group to set it to "invite only," but I'm not sure if people can request to be in the group or not when you choose that option.
