Maybe a bad idea but would be nice if I could use the WeGame client to upload videos instead of going through the site. The WeGame client is good at recording but I use Fraps and virtualdub (to reduce size/quality).

You use fraps and virtualdub because you want to keep smaller files on your hard disk? Or because you think smaller files upload faster? WeGame encodes files to the format the site uses before uploading, for faster uploads and less processing time once uploads finish.

Did not know that WeGame client converted them prior to uploading. I only looked at the raw files.

You can change the file name of a file to trick the WeGame client into encoding/uploading it.
