Making your videos private

 Can there be a way to "private" your videos? I am a tester on a bf2 mod team and this game is just amazing for bug reports, but we do not want the players of the game viewing the videos. Can there be a way to privatize a video and the only way to show it to someone is link someone to it?

 We don't have a system in place currently to allow for making videos private.

If all you had to do to show someone a private video was link them to it, what prevents them from then linking it to someone else? I fail to see how that's secure.

Seems like security through obscurity to me.

 Yes, I know that, but the point is to have to video secure unless it is leaked (i only post the videos in a secure forum)

 I was thinking maybe you could setup a wegame.com members only channel or something. I was wanting to make some special how to vids and stuff just for the wegame.com community. Along the lines of "Advance techniques using vegas".

 make it so people in your group can only have access to viewing it to members in that one group

 how about, if you add a video to a private section in your profile, people must put in a pass in order to view the video?

this might be pointless for some, but face it. almost every single video hosting site out there has a private option.

 Locking videos would add frustration among the community,browsing videos and hitting one that's "locked" or each and every time you come on,you'd have to set your filters to hide "Locked" videos or password protected ones.

Filefront etc let's you put passwords on files etc,so wegame doesn't need this tbh.
