Guys, please: NO MORE "TEST" UPLOADS!!!

 This program is excelent, the potential is amazing, the games are insane! But there's about one video worth of being watched among a thousand "TESTS", or "JUST...".

Guys, please understand that this is NOT a hate message or spam, it's an honest constructive criticism, my REAL name is there so I'm being serious here! You must agree with me that most of the videos posted shouldn't even be in the hard drive of the user! Just check the reatio of Views and Likes, or just the numer of likes alone!!!

I've scroled 15 pages and the record was some with 2 likes, then I thought: "well, taking into account the average, it seems to be one of the very best!"... it sucked so hard! Was a guy SHOOTTING AN INERT BOT STANDING STILL IN THE FACE! END OF VIDEO!!!!!!!!!

COME ON??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I'm usually against all kinds of censorship or anything like that, but if each user were able to post a limited number of videos per month, I believe that PERHAPS people would be more crieterious posting only some better stuff that would make other people feel more interested in the site.

Im not saying this is the only or even the best solution, try perhaps a pool, check the opinion of the users and even more important: people that is just visiting the site and are not logged in! see what they think, if the answer is something like "yeah, the videos are usually so boring that I'll probably wont return anytime soon to check the website again", please, let's try a solution.

 The reason why there are so many test videos is that people are trying out the recorder - remember, WeGame went live very recently.

I have posted a few test videos myself, way back ago, and that was because it was a new thing (for me at least), to record my games, and instantly upload them without encoding them myself.

 Nelson, I know it gets more Havoc'y when you see Tests and that, But Remember. Like Bapple said, Those people are new and/or are just trying the recorder out. I say some of the responses to the Recorder is "OMG THIS BEATS ALL OTHER VID RECORDERS :D". Now, When your saying the limited Vid's a month? That will literally make Wegame, As popular and live as it is..go down the drain, Even if youtube done it, They could've just lost like 3.5-7 million users. lose alot of sponsers, and make them migrate somewhere else (no more nice vids on youtube! Oh Noes!)

 I don't get why people are "testing" it personally :S

The video they record is in .avi

That is a video file... you upload that video file to the site... why wouldn't it work? :S
Why is there need to test uploading a video format to a site that plays nearly all of them anwyay,and would most ceratainly be able to play the format it's main application records in!

I don't see the "point" other than them phrasing their ambitions correctly.

I think by "test video" they mean - "I'm starting to use wegame and I just wanted to try uploading something until I get an idea to do and I just want to see what people think of my profile"

Personally I haven't uploaded a test vid yet,but then again I've been doing this for a while,so I know the ropes etc.
Maybe they feel insecure being new,and just want to ease their way in... who knows?

 I've uploaded more test videos than anyone. They all got deleted before the site went public though :(

Why did they all get deleted then,was it something simple as hard-formatting the hard drives ready for the public launch,or was it more complicated?

 Just a simple wipe of the database and video folder on the servers, I think. A lot of them would have been messed up anyway as we changed all kinds of stuff before launching

 Ah I see...
Thinking of all these vids etc,I realise I haven't uploaded 1 pc vid yet :S

Should start with sims 2 since I got a series starting on there soon - oh wait -

Not supposed to tell anyone that :P
