 I see I've joined the discussion a bit late...

Anyway, the rules look pretty fair. As was brought up earlier though, hopefully the users/mods don't go apeshit with them and turn the WeGame forums into the Nazi-controlled GameSpot forums. ;)

Are there any new forum categories that you guys want? We have the "Just for fun" category so far.

 I'd love to see a forum just for people to post videos. Gametrailers.com has it, and it's one of the most popular forums they have. You make a good video, then you have a place to put it. Would keep the video posts out of the genre forums.

Also if you're asking for features here as well. Wegame REALLY needs to support more games. As in get rid of the misc gaming section and simply let us type in the name of the game the video is for. Also since I've joined there have been tons of request for new games to be added for the client to use, and to my knowledge not a single one of them have been added. The same group of games that worked with the client when I joined are the same ones that work now.

 We are adding a ton of new games today. It's taking a bit longer than we expected because we want to make sure everything is working 100% before releasing the client.

Now back on topic. A machinima category for videos that aren't gameplay might work. Let's see what the others think.

 100% think that's a great idea. Thing is most of those videos are still game related so people will find them through the particular game search, but it's still a good idea.

 Let me clarify that a bit: I still don't think non-gaming related videos belong here, like someone posting a music video of their favorite band for example.

More than wanting more games to the list though, I would love, love, love to be able to delete my own videos and comments as needed from my videos.

I realize this isn't regarding the forum in question but it's something I just wanted to toss in there. I was wondering if the feature was neglected on purpose in order to build up the amount of videos available for the site.

 Console games would still fit into the categories that we have now. I'm thinking more along the lines of genres.

 On and please for the love of god let us catagorize our videos on our profiles. Yes I can search for my video if I really want to find it. Yes I would rather just click the catagory on my folder where I know the file is and go right to it. If you don't know what I'm talking about simply check out youtubes playlists. You put a video in a playlist that you create, and you very easily can find it wherever you like. Be it your videos you've uploaded, or videos you've favorited. (liked on wegame would be favorites on youtube).
