Many Pro gamers said it SC2 will be lame compared to BW. BW as evoluated in a way its the perfect game now. The balance is perfect and builds are just amazing. I would say you should just buy original and have a lot of fun.

There is the star invitational that just ended recently that was commentated in english by Tasteless so its really interesting go check it out :

Sharkified, have these "Pro" played SC2? if not then what they say means nothing, if they have played SC2 then im still going to make up my own mind, because i may have my times where i get to where am OK at a game, but im not "PRO" so all that matters to me is that it is Fun.

@Sharkified: Yeah man I've been reading some interviews lately and it seems that most pro gamers are saying that SC2 is shaping up really nicely! They are hesitant to say anything decisive since it is still in development, but they remain optimistic. But there are some I noticed who are worried about SC2 because of some changes that Blizzard has made (such as being able to select an indefinite amount of units at once instead of only 12). But whatever, I just bought the SC Battlechest and I'm gonna play that to death until SC2 comes out and when it does, well I'll find out for myself if it lives up to the legacy set by the first ;)

Oh btw, the link you gave didn't work :(

I dearly hope pathfinding is good with huge numbers of units. Too often have I gathered a huge army in an RTS, to be only let down as they run into each other on the way to the battle.

Yeah I know what you mean.

Hey Deatherage, do I have to make another Bnet account for StarCraft? Or can I just use the one that I registered for WarCraft 3?

BTW I got the SC Battlechest last Saturday =DDD

Hell yes! Starcraft is still going strong after 10 years and the competitive scene is only getting bigger.

Plus, you'll need to know whats going on in the story and have some skills so that the transition to Starcraft 2 runs smooth and you start owning noobs straight away.
