dawn of war 2 is completly different to the original because you only control one squad that you upgrade over the campaign

To andy25100; One squad?

I have read about Dawn of War II a lot and it states on many a website, you will control and upgrade 5-6 squads during the singleplayer version..

The squad idea will make it easier for new players to get involved because they don't have to learn the tech trees. But it will also make more defensive stratergies as people won't want to lose the few squads that they have.

The graphics are definitely a high point for me at the moment: gritty and brutal.

None of this cheesy cartoony Blizzard shit.

@KillerSteve: Yeah, but you can reinforce your squads on-the-fly in Dawn of War II (and the first one).

@bapplebo: Yeah, no kidding. I love the brutality of the universe. I mean, when a unit dies, it doesn't just die like in StarCraft. It gets torn apart and scorched. :D
