Things Users Feel Wegame Could Improve On:

I'm impatient so I sent it out.

The Users of Wegame, are the most important part, without users Wegame is worthless as Angelfire. As the users, we know that it is difficult as a startup company, but we have faith in Wegame, we love Wegame more than Jared loves Wegame, and because we love it, we humbly request the following features:

a more useful notification other than a green box, perhaps something that could display the frames per second?
a more common form of encoding so that people can load videos recorded in common editors like windows movie maker and sony vegas
a third quality option in watching videos inbetween high and low quality (something more along the lines of youtubes high quality)
Please continue client support, many users have issues and it seems that many of them are left out in the cold, if the support is satisfactory, please let other users see it, or understand that these issues are being taken care of
please also stop deleting cosplay or art that is sexual in nature unless there is no argument that it is indeed pornography, many of the photos that have been big on this website are sexual in nature and have helped to put wegame on the map (over 2k diggs sure helps). Besides that many video game characters are naturally scantily clad, many major games include this artwork as canon! sexuality in video games and the success of wegame are just as important as headshots, melee kills, and rocket jumping videos. I can find you hundreds of OFFICIAL pictures of Cammy and Chun-li straight from Capcom where each of them are wearing quiet a bit less clothing than your average porn star wears out. Hell With that said Cammy's fighting outfit is a one piece thong bikini. So if you're going to start limiting provacative imagery you may as well remove every game that has a female in it, particularly fighting games as they tend to wear the least amount of clothing.

Let us view more than 100 pages of screenshots and movies. I know many users can't see all of their screenshots without having to directly search for image names. I don't see a good reason for it to be limited anyway.

please change the upload system. Naming screenshots AFTER uploading has caused me more problems than anything on this site. My suggestion for this is to make uploading videos and screenshots work the way it does on the client. You name, label and describe said video or screenshot, THEN you press an upload button.

Game listings.
WeGame has been doing a better job at updating the games list, but it still could be better. Games like World in Conflict and even Tetris and Super Mario Bros. still don't have a listing. One idea to make the game tagging system better is to, instead of having individual games, have series of games instead. So instead of having 20 different sections for Final Fantasy games, there would just be one for the entire Final Fantasy series.

Also, it would be nice if the WeGame client supported more games at a faster rate.

Oh, and also, being able to upload more than one video at a time and more than 20 screenshots at a time would be a great change. And being able to batch name screenshots would be great. I can't think up of a unique title for every screenshot, so I usually just copy and paste the same title into every field. It would be a lot more convenient if I could just put my title in one field and it would auto-complete the title field of every screenshot in my upload batch (which I hope is over 20!).

I'd also like to be able to batch edit screenshots.

can we please get the cropping feature actually working? as it is, it is broken.

As you have probably already realized, WeGame is very oriented around delivering what users want. That said, we're a very small team and not all requests can be answered. Therefore we do our best to prioritize requests and deliver on what we can.

+Look for something like this in the future.

+WeGame uses the Motion JPeg codec, which is the same is as used by most digital cameras to record video. Users experiencing problems with Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas should attempt to reinstall the codec or research compatibility options in the video editor of their choice.

+We probably won't be seeing this. Each quality version of the video means more hosting space and more cost.

+I may be a prude but I delete anything more graphic than could be shown on American basic cable, and sometimes I'm even more generous than that (For example I leave the cosplay deviants stuff that Weclock uploads alone).

+It works this way to accommodate the automatic upload option, which is the more popular of the two. It may change in the future, but it's low priority.

+Agreed! We'll be kicking up our game support in the near future.

+As was pointed out, uploading more than one video at a time is a huge stress on your bandwidth. We may increase the number of concurrent screenshot uploads.

Unfortunately this isn't a very reasonable request. How would you select the screenshots to batch edit? That means we'd have to design at least two pages to satisfy a very small number of users. This would be an extremely low-priority feature.

This is a feature which we definitely want to get working again, but has fallen prey to priorities. It will be fixed in the future.
