Two setups, in the same house, running the exact same hardware, exact same software, at the exact same settings. Why different framerates?

I remember my buddy tested this on CoD2 title screen. (so no dynamics such as gunfire and character movement, etc)

one constantly had 2 extra fps

just curious...

You'll always have some FPS increase or decrease. Always. No two computers will be 100% identical.

A solution to your problem...ALL COMPUTERS ARE DIFFERENT. There is no way for two identical computers to run exactly the same. They're just like cars, snowflakes, and women.
