Mississippi, the poorest friggin state in the nation. Not to mention that 90% of this state has NOTHING TO DO!! We have 4 "cities" as some of us have come to call it, which would be small towns to you city folk in California. =) The rest of this state is comprised mostly of villages. The only so called "cities" in MS is Starkville, Oxford, Columbus, and Jackson. I live in a town (which I would rather not name) so friggin small that everyone knows your business before you do. Years ago, my mom got in a car accident and people across my town and the bordering town knew before we even got the call from the sheriff. Not to mention the rats from the farms around this state. New York rats are nothing compared to Mississippi rats. The farm rats around here are as big as a small dog, resistant to most poisons, and you have to build a trap inside a trap just to catch them. On the good side though, this place is a Deer Hunter's paradise.
