 Hi all!

I was just wondering where everyone got their nicknames, gamertags, character names, or whatever you'd like to call them, from.

Because for some people, their nickname has a meaning, and some just smashed their fist on the keyboard and looked what came out.

My in-game name is always Aikaturbo, which seem to be finish for 'time goes fast', but i figured that out when people started speaking finish to me :P. So that wasen't where i got it from.
A long time ago, i saw a cartoon drawn somewhere, and the cartoons name was ackaturbo, i always tought that was a cool name, and when i started gaming, i needed an in-game name, and the only thing i could think of, was this ackaturbo.
But i forgot it's name, and knew it sounded something like aikaturbo, so i used that name.

Now you know my story, whats yours? =)

 I have a few nicknames.

Gangsta was my original, but I was 15 and in the past 11 years, I've kind of out-grown it.

So I was messing around with a novel I started writing, and needed a name for the main character. I started fiddling around with letters and out popped Ethnea. Now in WoW I have a lvl 62 undead mage (she was Pre-B.C.)

Then B.C. (Burning Crusade) came out, and I wanted to not be squishy! So I created a BE Pally. I wanted to name her Arena, but the name did not work, so, I played with letters again, and came out with Adreena. (Adreena is the lvl 70 epic'ed out pally featured in my "What's Your Game?" WoW commercial. See my sig.)

Later I discovered that there is a band called "Queen Adreena" and needless to say, I was very pleased. They even make good Music! (Queen Adreena is my favorite band nowadays. Perhaps not suitable for young minds though.)

Two more names I use, or have used are Matiya (needed another name for another character in my novel) ad Arachnea (there is a greek legend / myth about a young girl, named Arachne who was transformed into a spider because someone was jealous of her weaving abilities (if I recall correctly). Thus, Arachne being the first spider, creatures with 8 legs, were named Arachnids, after her. I have always enjoyed that tale, and that's why I like the name Arachnea.

 Wow, now that's a story:P

Reminds me that i forgot to explain my forum name: maximama.
Thats a pretty short and simple story, i use aikaturbo in-game and maximama when out-game (is that even a word:P?).

My real name is Max, and some girl in primary school called me maximama, that was when i was 12 years old, and i started using maximama for my first RPG, Runescape. and maximama was easy to remember, so i also used it for my youtube account, and before i knew it, i signed up for WeGame with maximama.
But i like aikaturbo way better, because a lot of people think im a girl, and that really isen't funny anymore:P

 I got a name which was supposed to be keylock on W3, over to my cousins house. I forgot about it and changed it to keyblock, It stuck for some weird reason and been using it in all my games and things....(NO ONE WILL TAKE THIS FANTASTIC NAME OF WEIRDNESS ';..;')

 My nickname Psyko was with me ever since high school. I did things that other people refused to do whether be completely idiotic or dangerous. I never drank though. I also look like Osama Bin Laden's drunken lieutenant (know what it feels like walking into a store and hearing the security cameras following you or having police officers pull you over for any reason?). I've done things ranging from simple to dangerous. Things like, insulting teachers and principals (and still making a 3.0 GPA), trying to hook a football coach up with a female student that had a crush on him. Lastly I'm an artist who constantly drew apocolyptic art and writing poetry that freaked people out. Oddly enough as crazy as I was and still am, people don't seem to mind except for the local police.
Okay, I saw that one coming. Hmm, it explains why I like sniper rifles so much. Manipulative?
