 I think it would be a good idea to post suggestions on ways to spread WeGame.com out on the net. Promoting the site helps make it a long-lasting site :D

I will probably post a link of some kind on my site because I like the way WeGame posts videos without ads on them. The quality is really clean too which is awesome.

 Word of mouth helps the most. Linking from your site/other sites and forums doesn't hurt, though.

 Hopefully no one advertises on youtube, we all know it and we know it has flamers which will turn this starter-up game into a hellish online forum where ppl get flamed for no reason plz we only want sensible people here

 I've already tried to convince several people to try it out. I think it's a much better place to post game related video than youtube, and the community seems much more mature.

 I found out about WeGame through #zombiepanic on irc.gamesurge.net.

I think the best way of spreading WeGame is to have quality videos uploaded to the site then spread those videos 'round the tubes. (Digg, for example).

 I did a review back in jan and put it onto my youtube account.. got a few people to join up, including a prominent machinima maker, as I spread the word.

How about a competition where you have to create a site trailer video to win some wegame themed swag (and open to more than just the US, *hint* europe *hint* ;) ).

Good idea?

 Actually since I do machinima I was wondering if I could help in some way...

I realise you have Oxhorn,but he's providing the content for the site rather than advertising it if you get what I'm talking about?

I watched the wegame advert over and over again with the paladin.
It was good,enjoyable and music was a great touch etc and made me want to check wegame out. But the problem was the voices were kind of toned down,like the actors were a bit nervous or not very confident in talking,something wasn't comfortable about it all to me,I don't know if that's just my superstition or wether some agree?

Overall what I'm saying is that's been sufficient,but since we want to extend the fan base a lot more,I'm basically offering to do a commercial for wegame,using any game really that I can get my hands on (not Halo :P)
probably Call of Duty 4 tbh :S

If I just put something together this week (don't worry all the sound effects and music is non copyrighted) and just see what the community and also the staff members think about it,perhaps we could go from there?

Generally as far as advertising goes,you could go and email a few sites like machinima.com and gametrailers.com and just ask for some basic coverage and see what you can get out of them before having to pay,who knows?

I already have the wegame logo pic and the intro 6 second vid,so I guess I'll just see what I can come up with. Catch you all sometime this week...
