Is there any way to get rid of the text box in tf2 while playing a demo?

The best part about playing soldier is not the highly explosive rocket launcher nor the extremely satisfying shotgun but the simple fact that i get to invert peoples faces with a shovel.

hud_deathnotice_time 0 (6 is default)

Text box:
hud_saytext_time 0 (12 is default)

you can use hud_saytext 0 as kosh says or you can create a custom hud however that takes a ridiculously long time!
