Looking for Sound.mpq file!

If you have watched ox's first machinima tutorial you will know what this file does and therefore why I need it. I'm guessing that the sound.mpq file vanished with the latest patch, just like Ox said in the tutorial, I can't seem to find it anyway. If anyone have it please contact me so I can get it too, I truly need the soundeffects...

Same here. I just tried looking for it myself and can't find anything except the Expansion bosses speech sounds.

I've found a solution for the problem! :) Simple uninstall world of warcraft and only reinstall the original Wow, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT install burning crusade, cause then you will have wasted 1 hour of installing since the sound.mpq file have vanished again. I just wish i wouldn't have been stupid enough to install it myself first in hope of getting burning crusade sound effects. After simply copy the sound.mpq file to your desktop or something, the file won't go away if you keep it somewhere other when your world of warcraft folder when upgrading to burning crusade. Get the program Winmpq(Oxhorn mensions it in the first machinima tutorial) to be able to play the file, and BAM - you have soundeffects. This way will take some time, but in the end it will be worth it. In this way you won't have to worry about any downloading or virustrouble since world of warcraft usually don't come with virus. Oh and should you have problems with running Winmpq (i did), a simple google search will usually help you. But should you get the error i got; MSCOMCTL.OCX, i recomend this site: http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/sup... It fixed the problem for me anyhow ;)
