Inspiration for machinimas?

When I hear a music track my imagination runs wild. Also, dreams is a good source.

Same as Farinar, I barely sleep and when I do its conscious so I'm thinking about work I have to do all the time.

Music is proberly the best though. I listen to a song and all sorts of ideas spiral into my head, but also sometimes being bored out of your skull at school gives me ideas, too.

Music is my biggest inspiration. So many PvP or general "flashy" edits just run through my mind when a good song comes on. It's much harder with plot-based machinima, though, 'cause that takes writing and ideas don't as easily just pop in to your head for a storyline. In terms of comedy, though, I've been writing down a lot of little things that make me and my friends chuckle in-game/ventrilo.

Hell, my first machinima was a Star Wars parody. -.-

And my first ever "Film" (started on scene 1 then got scrapped) was an action-spy movie.

Music here too :p When I listen to Nightwish I can see big epic battles, heroes and wars in my imagination. Also just before I go to sleep and i'm laying in bed I get ideas and write them down on a little piece op paper. Vacations help too.

Toilets, seriously.
I keep finding myself thinking of funny ideas in either there or the bathroom.
Am I a nudist? or why else would I be struck by ideas while naked?

Its ether walking, while im sleeping or listing to a song in a car.

I sometimes have funny ideas, but I fail/am to lazy to put them into practice in Garry's Mod.
