Any ideas on how to make better shadows with Vegas 8?

As per my vid Horror of the Hotel, I played around with the background of Thief Deadly Shadows and WoW Model Viewer to make a different style of video. I made this in the jail in Thief 3 (Deadly Shadows) and used WoW Model Viewer. I know part of it the brightness of the troll "glitched" a bit, but I was more wandering about any ideas on making a better drop shadow using Vegas 8. Watch more Gaming Videos
