the Arenas is kinda like duels, nothing special imo.
I prefer the pve aspect of the game over pvp because pvp can get very repetable, you go to the same arenas and the same 4 BG's but in pve you got alot of different raids and bosses, but it takes more time to get the gear you whant...

And here we come to the discussion about gear. :P
What makes WoW so repetitive and boring, is that you need to grind to get gear, to grind better to get better gear. Its a non-ending gear treadmill.

Yup that's true for both PVE and PVP.
Still the social aspect of it is nice.
it's like being on IRC and doing something else at the same time too!
Productivity ahoy.

Damn, I have a level 70 mage in WoW, but really it get's old after a while, it's just very addictive, I think it drag's people in too much and really it's the same as any other MMORPG and has nothing extra special about it anymore. Esecially the fact that blizzard are ruining the game by taking away thing's like attunment's etc...stuff like that made me quit, and of course the increasing population of small pumped up 11 year old's playing the game.

having a 70 doesn't complete the game, I too have a 70, but mine is marksman hunter...which I used to play the "game" aspect of it...then I made a "twink" and the fun began..who is only mildly built @ 29..but still holds his own...then I have a 50 "instance" character who only does instances...guess what i'm saying is theres more to the game than bg's, arena's, and instances....theres alot of hidden crap out there just waiting to be found. if your tired of the same old thing...try a pvp server, things change when you cant turn your pvp off....lol

Having a level 70 doesn't complete the game, but make's it better apparently. Even though every quest in the game is the exact same and there is no storyline, if there was a storyline, I would play it.

Yea...That's probably what made WoW so boring for me. I didn't play after my free trial was up.

Well the only reason I ever bother playing it is because all my friend's were and I felt left out when they were talking about it. But then I just couldn't stand it anymore, most of my friend's still play it now >=(.

Most of my friends don't play so I never had a reason to. That game is definitely more fun if you know people your playing with in real life.
