That news piece is pretty old but, a good example of people blaming video games when clearly there are deeper issues at hand.

I was going to quit WoW completely. However, my brother decided he was going to convince me to continue. So, I transferred servers and we can play together now. It's not terribly boring to me at this point. I really only play a couple of hours a week but, the fact I am doing something with a family member is keeping me playing. I did warn him if I get bored again, that will be it. I'll quit for good.

ya well if you get somone thats boring and geeky that dosnt have any friends they ill get so into the game they wont wana do anything else it happend to my brother and he dosnt come out of his room the only way i can tlk to him is by wispering him on his toons.

well thats my reason like you can be adicted and get un adicted just like that.

yea i played wow and couldn't get into it from lvl 1-58 but then 59-70 was realy fun:)

Never really was my thing. I guess that's probably because I joined some no name server and had no friends interested in the game. I guess you really need that community feel in order for WoW (or any MMO for that matter) to keep you there for a long time.

That's the only reason I ever staid with Guild Wars for a long time.

I love WoW! :) I have 70 undead rogue. Going to make a PvP movie soon and post on Wegame :)
