The Bad Guys - Why do you play them?

 Seriously. Why?

Is it because there is a sense of maturity within the side, or because you are a sadistic bastard?

For me, I'll have to say its more that I feel comfortable when I'm playing a grunt, and the bad guys accurately portray this feeling. When on the good guys, you have this thing in your head: "I'm good, I'm a hero", so you can't roleplay a baby-eating warlock in that sense.

 Bad guys are often more complicated and interesting. The heroes motivation is always the same, save the world, save the girl, you killed my family/village and I must avenge them, etc...

The villain might have been heroic once but something happened to him to turn him bad... Or he might think hes doing good but tragically is misguided and must be killed. Think about it all the best games had really memorable villains.

 there is a game on xbox called fabil and its easy as being bad then good. good is so much harder.

 Only games I really enjoy playing badguys is Star Wars Battlefront and such. I love being a stormtrooper. I dont know why.

 To be a Bad guy in roleplay is basically one of the best things you could do, surely you can get crushed by the "Hero" Who massively God Mods and gets all his Roleplay guild together to "defeat" or "Kill" you. But basically what i find is a laugh of, is that you can corrupt other players turning against one - another and command evil slaves of anything, whether it be rats or the brutal Ogres of the mountains Of Hurahl'i tis is true of Great fun!
