 It has always been a 3dimentional game. Tough the first version, now called RuneScape classic, had all characters 2dimentional just as Doom did. All the walls were also paper thin but it was three-dimensional.

 Runescape has not aged well, I can tell you that. I tried playing it but I couldn't get past the tutorial.

Though there are a lot of pretty solid browser based MMORPGs that are also free to play. You should check 'em out!

 Wow... i played it like 2-6 years ago...It actually got a start for me in MMO's
Best webspace hosting ever ;) What can i say, i know my WoW. Probably... since i hate bubbles.

 They just recently updates Runescape. It looks like a new game now!!!

 It's a good game but no skill is involved, it's just random clicking. There isn't much excitement in it either.

 you know, runescape is the best mmorpg the is.
IT'S SO F*CK*NG BRILIANT!
webbrowser: no download needed, annyone can play it annywhere!
and now you even have full screen!
story: WoW is so... usual, avreage mmorpg -.- realy, nothing news there.
but runescape.. its so original! (takes too long too explain it all :P).

but one major thing is bad about rs: graphics.
for java its beatifull, but for avreage mmorpg it isnt realy good... even with the new hd mode.

ah well runescape ftw

 Ok Runescape, I think this is the gayest mmorpg in the listings, Little kids play it and randomly someone walks up to you and sais "Will you go out with me?" I mean come on! Runescape are gready because they got shit graphics and you can only unlock shit if u donate montly. I think i have time to waste on better games.

Basicly 1 line to discribe runescape :

Go wood cutting, Get Logs, Sell Logs, Get Stuff, Go wood cutting, get logs, sell logs.

Once ur max what u gonna do? heh its boring!
