 I have been playing this game more then WOW for awhile now. I am a big long time fan of LOTR with the books and movies so that might be why.

I just got the Special Edition in the mail and I might be uploading some bonus content from it.

Anyone else play it?

 I did play it for 3 days and got bored of it straight away. It's practically the exact same as WoW just a bit different in the way of storylines and the way the instances work, but everything is practically called the same and the quests are the same and everything.

 I was playing the trial. It's a good game, but it doesn't like to stray away from the example WoW was setting.

It definitely had some good ideas though, and was a blast to play, although I hear you HAVE to be in a group at higher levels, which sort of turned me off.

 Its basically like WoW with more stuff and in-game expansions, they have houses, you can play music, guildhalls...etc

but the gameplay is the same of both except the top Things that i have posted...Also the farming is hilarious! i got my whole guild to mass plant potato seeds everywhere in 1 patch then 900 people joined and we accidently crashed The Hobbit place (i forget it! :[)

 I agree with the WoW+ evaluation. But if anything that's a compliment rather than a criticism.

I just wish it had better PVP.
Signature is currently undergoing bug testing.

 I played it all the way up to level 50, and then quit because there was no compelling end-game content, and whatever PVP they had was useless to me as a Guardian. They may have fixed it now, but from what I hear, the game is still only fun from level 1-30, and after that it becomes a boring grindfest.

 I played a captain to 20 in 2 days.
Tried to 2box a healer..
Realised that was completely rediculous coz of the quest only leveling.
Binned 2 copies of it :P
I got to level 10 on Nethack, I died due to poisoning from eating a Kobolds remains. Best Game Ever.

 I find this game more interesting than Wow,because in some ways it's simpler,in others it can "have" more depth.

I find roleplaying better here,buying houses is good,community is more interactive in terms of events and consitency,and I also preffer the graphics and everything,I love this game,but unfortunately no one plays it online enough to make me keep subscribing,biggest mistake Codemasters made was to let you buy a lifetime subscription,in the long run people will buy this,and there goes their monthly server fees paid for :(

I love playing instruments (I'm a musician in RL)
I love the festivals,the events,the equipment,proficiencies etc.

I agree Wow is better at endgame,but there's something about the LOTR universe that drags me in constantly...

 Movie Makerz Roleplays! OMFG i need to get life subscription for it (its going to keep expanding past Middle earth and over to the other place, what is it? i forget though. hell it could be even another book! But still it looks awsome. and yes even if it doesn't expand past middle earth it is still going to be teh hugest mmorpg bigger than WoW i bet.

 I really think that if they fixed some minor problems with the combat and class traits,and more people played it and took it more seriously and not just a bunch of lol'ers then yes,LOTRO has the potential to be better!
