*SPOILERS*
So, if you search the left4dead2_english file in you L4D2 demo folder, you will find something very interresting...
// Genders
"L4D_Gender_CEDA" "CEDA Agent"
"L4D_Gender_Crawler" "Mudman"
"L4D_Gender_Undistractable" "Construction Worker"
"L4D_Gender_Fallen" "Fallen Survivor"
"L4D_Gender_Riot_Control" "Riot Officer"
"L4D_Gender_Clown" "Clown"
What could this mean? "Fallen Survivor"?
I doubt it would mean that if someone in your team dies they return as Infected, that would be very unoriginal and the "zombies" in the game aren't really dead. Besides, the survivors are Carriers and can't be turned.
And no, it's not the survivors from L4D1. Chet said himself that "They have plans for the original survivors, and they are neither dead or undead"
Some people on the Steam Forums think it refers to the zombie with bullet belts in the intro:

They think that this is Valve's attempt at reintroducing the original Boomer, which had to be pushed away before you shot it or else it would explode and hurt you. (Hence the name "Boomer")
But then again, some people on the Steam Forums also thinks it's made out of chocolate.
What do you guys think?

“I am not looking forward to getting my molotov ruined by hazmats” A single shot after the molotov should do the job fine. :P |
