You guys need to stop. He can do what he wants. A few torrented copies of L4D2 isn't gonna hurt anyone. And trust me. If ANYONE actually cared about torrenting. It would have been dealt with long ago.
And you shouldn't get on him about "hard work" and shit like that. For people like me, "hard work" just isn't enough. I'm 16. I have applied to just about every restaurant and retail store in my area. Still don't have a job. My sister lives in Massachusetts. And my mom is a real estate appraiser and can't get work. Yes, we are in a bad economy right now. (no thanks to Obama's stimulus) but basing your argument off of "if anyone cared it would've been dealt with a long time ago" is retarded. People go to jail because of their ISP reporting them downloading or uploading torrents. It's called the FBI and RIAA. Encouraging torrenting is blinding people to the risks of jailtime and fines they cannot pay. You need to grow up.

Burglary/robbery/theft deprives the owner of a tangible item. Downloading copyrighted works does not. It's an important distinction that has been made by law.

You can argue about which is worse, but they're not the same thing and will never be.

That said, you will also never be able to stop copyright infringement/piracy. It will be driven back to direct download systems (compromised servers running XDCC software) or to onion-routing networks (Tor) and darknets (Freenet).

Ok people why dont we jus tmake a "Torrentiung vs no torrenting" thread in Off-topic section AND GET ON IT!The site I use is for copies of the ORIGINAL game BOUGHT and then UPLOADED for other people to use.Therefore once the person has bought it its his property and he can do whatever he likes to.He uploads it therefore sharing HIS now owned property!Also by "not having a credit card" I ment I have NO FREAKING WAY of paying for them.no mather if its pay pal,dick pal or any other bullshit you might come up with SO JUST QUIT ARGUEING FOR SOMETHING THAT IS DONE ALL OVER THE WORLD AND YOU CANT STOP!
