linux is lacking, but there's plenty around on mac doesn't change the fact that windows is awful at managing its resources though

It's certainly better than it used to be on Mac, and Windows is certainly better at managing resources than it used to also. Let's all fight about it to help keep the MS hatred trendiness from 5 years ago alive like a good little troll. |

Yes that's true the way up to XP. Whenever you put a CD into win98FE you got a bluescreen. |

Okay.. I highly reccomend staying/getting XP. VISTA DECREASES FRAMERATE! and the only good thing for gaming with it is directX10..

But you will need a pretty high end card to get decent framerates in the few DX10 games that exist. |

I didn't notice Vista decreasing framerate, but for most games using DX9 and 10 now, they don't look any different... Of course, if you don't use OpenGL your game blows anyway /troll
