Vista or XP?

Yeah, Apple has around 8% of the PC market in the US now, since Windows is slowly becoming less and less relevant... even in corporations. The stigma of being a Mac user is slowly fading away as the (Intel) hardware gets much smoother and the fact that Mac OS X is now actually an acceptable substitute for Windows.

Vista takes a lot to run really, XP is a good installment I think. Linux can run most if not all programs windows can but it comes down to perference really.
