The Search has Begun (PC)

 I have been looking about for a good if not cheap PC controller, for all those annoying times when the keyboard/mouse scheme has gotton me killed.

I have been looking about online (newegg, bestbuy, circutcity) and even going so far as to ask my classmates their opinion (like speaking latin to a child) but to no avail.

Now I ask the community of WeGame, who in hindsight I should have gone to first, please link me some cheap, but effective PC Controllers

It needs: at least the regular ps2 format buttons/sticks

 well truth is I found one that has 177 5 star replies, no real bad stuff, install time could be better and works well with vista.... it just doesnt have analog sticks

$7.95+tax+shipping = not much

but I neeeeed analog sticks or I'll get owned...

 Why do you want a controller? Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of gaming on a PC? :-P

 A friend of mine uses an Xbox 360 controller. They're cheap, specially if you already have the console (which comes with one)

 Well I guess I can see that being reasonable if you already have the console...

Go to radio shack, pick up a "PS2 to USB adapter." Then you can use your Playstation 2 controller on your computer. It's what I use for playing Mugen.

 well i found something that can do for the time being... a lil object that took a little bit of time but i can program the buttons and everything... so until this fails me the search is on hold

also the reason to find said controller is not to defeat the purpose of PC gaming, its to better hone my reflexes in FPS games, i still use keyboard and mouse for other games but FPS games need something better then "oh i died because i couldnt spin my mouse 360 to defend myself"

 If you play enough you will find that the keyboard/mouse is 10x easyer to use then joypad
