http://www.tomshardware.com/2008/03/17/i... Interesting article I stumbled upon. "Larrabee will thrust Intel into the discrete graphics market in a very large way." While more choices are good, a 3 way GPU war will be very interesting to watch indeed. Will one company be the outcast, when the other two battle it out? Or will they each have their different perks? I'm looking forward to seeing what Intel comes up with. If they have stupidly long and complicated names for their cards (etc, Intel GX10X20), I will stick to Nvidia.

yeah, it's going to be hard for Larabee to gain any ground. Market entry is going to be difficult because Nvidia and AMD/ATI have already saturated this market full of products at all different price points. I think that if Larabee is going to have any chance of competing they will have to partner with some game developer studios and get some ads in the PC gaming industry. PC Gaming is what is really driving the innovations of computing today. They will need support in this arena to make a threesome GPU war. But hey, if they do make it in more price wars are bound to take effect. So, the end benefactor will always be the consumer. You've gotta love price wars. i.e.--Look how cheap dual and some quad core CPU's are right now... I hope they do make market entry and gain some market share. I would love to see if Nvidia will drop the 8800GTX PCI-E 2.0 versions down under $200 a piece.
