 I just bought the $1999 MacBook Pro. (2.4ghz core 2 duo, 2gb ddr ram, uhh i denno the other specs lol)

The PhotoBooth application is cool. I'm looking for a serial for TextMate, though. :)

 If you game, you should take advantage of BootCamp. It lets you put Windows on your Mac for free... Well the windows cost u money (xp or vista) So I did this and run America's Army, CS:S, CoD4, Total War, DoD:S and many other fine on mine with 80+FPS on most... Should maybe look into it if you game.

 Running windows on a fruit is so wrong, I think I've actually used my bootcamp install like 4 times...

After using Mac OS X for a while I can't stand windows...

I took the 320gb hdd and 4gb ddr2 ram out of my Thinkpad and put them into my Macbook. :)

 Mac is awesome. I'm a convert as of 4 days ago.

The only gripe I've had is that FileVault apparently doesn't work when using a case-sensitive filesystem. This also made importing data from my main Linux machine (like 20,000 images, a hundred or so gigs of movies, etc) a nightmare due to duplicated filenames.

I don't see why anyone would ever want to go back to Windows (other than gaming) after using a modern Mac system.

And this post is coming from a hardcore Linux user who is paid to write Windows code all day. :P
