Megazord The Powerful Level 47 2017 Posts 4 months ago Permalink Report	You probably should edit the title, considering they said that sony wont be charging an online fee. Also, the ps3 has a lot of other games that are better than the 360's (Gran tourismo 5 will easily surpass forza 3 for example). I only use my 360 for netflix and things I can't play on my pc (oh, and mw2 wont have hackers so I'm getting that for the 360 soon!). I have a 360, but no ps3, so I can't really vouch for how equal the online play is for the ps3 compared to the 360, all I know is on the 360, if I die on halo, I will be called a "fag" and other racist terms, and to make it worse, I'm hearing it from a 6 year old. Rant over.

WGSXFrank The Powerful Level 37 963 Posts Moderator 4 months ago Permalink Report	Most likely they will be charging a monthly fee for things such as exclusive access to certain downloads, extra (nice to have, but not absolutely needed) online features, Qore, and the V.O.D. service. If they charge.... dont even geme started” @NeoWarfare : They wont be charging for things we can already do : “studying the possibility of introducing a subscription model, offering premium content and services, in addition to the current free services” Obviosuly , if they make us pay for EVERYTHING , or at least close to everything im gonna boycott it . Free online play is a reason I bought the PS3 , and it shouldn't be taken away from us PS : I never play PS3 anymore :P

FlashBack211 The Wise Level 27 424 Posts 4 months ago Permalink Report	I remember reading something in the early days of the ps3 that said the reason they didn't charge for the service itself was so the developer could reserve the right to charge per game. That made me feel uncomfortable to say the least but I guess the developers aren't making good on that so sony are going to have a crack at making the extra money. I had a ps3 from a couple of months after launch until about 2 months ago and in all honestly if they are going to charge for the service they are giving you should do what i did....switch to an xbox.

That little detail is what will continue to give the PSN an edge over Live. Regardless of anything else Sony might want us to pay for.
