Well Ive heard a lot of soundtracks so I cant give a clear answer of the best IUve heard,but I would say Vortal combat from Half life 2 episode 2

Oh yeah! Kingdom Hearts soundtrack rocks :D

This is the title track to one of THE best disney related games ever. Cold Shadow (or, Maui Mallard, depending on which version you got). Let me sum it up for you: Donald Duck + ninja = one epic platformer

Now I'm sure I could come up with a lot more soundtracks, but this gem came to mind :)

Castlevania's Bloody tears is by far my favorite song ever in a video game. i really dont' see anything ever being better.


It even sounds great in metal (which is how you hear it in the games).

As a overall soundtrack I like WoW's soundtrack for its pure ambience-- its very good at assigning a zone a ambience, espeically stranglethorn vale-- but I really like the soundtrack for the Blood elves, Great use of the Cello.

Lament of the Highbourne is quite nice too- but its mostly the zoney feel i get when I listen to it, its great for homework.

+1 for Castlevania. Just listening to it brings memories.
