Mighty good so far. Some of the actors sound rushed to me (or electronically compressed to save space?) and it's a little jarring the way my hat vanishes when I talk to people, but those are just small quips. The story is a good one and the gameplay is (checks the clock) very addictive.
One major problem is the way the DLC is downloaded. They set the system up as a Windows service for reasons I can't fathom at all. The service didn't install right when I first installed the game. Even after installing it myself, I have to kick-start the thing every time I play.
BTW, a patch to version 1.01 is available on the official website.

Oh, I'm sure there will come a day when the CPUs of PCs fail. But that day is not today!!
I've played through 3 origin stories now and all have been quite well done.

You mean origin stories? Yeah, there are quite a few. Mage, human lord, dwarf lord, dwarf commoner, city elf... check the achievements, I think it lists each one.

This game is pretty awesome, I have it on PC, but my mate has it on Xbox and shows me how to use tactics right. :X
Just a word of caution; I've heard rumours that the PS3 version is very glitchy and can cause you to lose saves. Not that I've had a personal experience, just telling what my friend was telling me.

Got it, playing it, liking it. Its good so far but really slow-paced if you have a fight that is actually a bit tough. Honestly... I think the story isn't worth playing so much. At RPG's I'm used to spending my time on the first playthrough to explore every little bit and finding every secret, then speedrunning with every other character and plotline. At Dragonage so far it is waaaay too time-consuming to explore stuff and stray from the main story due to the very slow combat system and very often battles.
It is a great game, definitely worth the money, but rather difficult and really time-consuming (=> addicting)
Takes tons of time to master it and I don't have it... all I really want is the story :(
