As usual I'm incorrect? Sorry bro, while I respect your posistion as a mod, you just seem like you're trying to justify racism. Using my right to (free speech), that's just how I feel about it.

I am only a 'moderator' because I work at WeGame. It does not really entitle me to anything aside besides the ability to delete spam posts and comments.
Also, I have corrected quite a few of your outlandish statements (regarding what you mistakenly refer to as game 'piracy', etc.) over the past few months, hence my comment.
And, as stated, I do not support racism. I think it is an extremely close-minded and archaic way of thinking.

I've seen that anything that disagrees with what you think is (outlandish) as you put it. Again no offense intended man, just how I've seen things. But really, I'm not going to argue with you, if you want to keep going around the forums being negative about every thing everyone posts, you can continue doing so. But I'm not arguing with you anymore about things, it's not worth the time.

Statement number one: Discrimination is wrong and should not be accepted
Statement number two: Freedom of speech and print is the core of Democracy
I cannot really speak of the rules and laws that are enforced in the US.
But what I can do is talk about the laws and rights of Sweden.
And as of the laws of Sweden, racism and discrimination is illegal. You may not go out on a public square, pick up a megaphone and scream out the message that a type of people should be done off with. Nor may you wear a swastika while you are in this public square.
But you do have the right to express these feelings on a private location.
This to me seems like aesthetics that should apply to the steam community.
Sure you might express your hate together with your friends who are in to the same thing. But you should not spray a swastika in the face of your dead teammember.
If you would want to, you can send the list over to me and I'll take a look at it. And probably send a complaint to Valve if it is what you have described it as.
Because I have been with of racism when I'm playing my game, and I have found it very offensive.

Well, any organization or community may set standards to which members must adhere (remember how swearing wasn't allowed in school?), but the thing I take issue with is people wishing to silence the voices of other people in general.
Just because someone says something with which you disagree does not mean that they are not entitled to say it.
That was the main point I was trying to make after reading the initial post in the thread.
@Zorlac: I tend to play devil's advocate. I do so in an effort to force people to make sure they have at least seen one other side of the issue at hand. If this offends you, I apologize, but groupthink and religion are dangerous tools, and I feel the need to combat them from time to time. :)

Well then we're all agreeing here.
This type of behaviour does negatively affects the enjoyment of Steam by other Subscribers. And as of that has no place on the Steam community.
By the way, is the checkbox that says "Give me an Email when someone reply" gone forever?

So...When a group of people disagrees with your moral principles and values, the correct course of action is to punish them....sounds like Facism! But then again the ends always justify the means right?

People are going to do what they're going to do. Try to control it and you're just going to make the situation worse. If something that someone says really bothers you then be the bigger person and walk away. Trying to silence them is only going to compel them to speak their point more and more.
