Torrenting is generally a polar issue. You either support it and use it, or don't support it and it irritates you when people talk about it like it's the norm.

I've never played Fable 2, but I played Fable: TLC. In TLC it had no effect if you were bad or evil to the overall story.
Anyone played Fable 2, I heard it have this "Every action has a consiquence" such as DAO

Fable 2.. Well i beat it 100%. You can be an angel, but if you do a few bad things than your morale or whatever goes down, but you can bring it back up... It's not that amazing xmortal, i would reccomend renting it.

I'm getting dragon age origins sometime today, ill be able to tell you guys how it is (A friend told me it was a kajillion times better than oblivion, and he loved oblivion as much as i did!).

Are the choises you make really obvious?

I mean, in every single game I buy that has "multiple choises that affects the game" its like:

"You have encountered an old beggar. Do you want to give him money or beat him to death with a hammer?

You chose to beat him to death, you have recieved 2+ bad points"

Yeah, that's been a thing about BioWare games for awhile, Mindless. It's VERY obvious what's the good guy thing to say and what's the bad guy thing to say. This time... they are still mostly obvious but a lot of the big ones aren't obvious at all. (It's rather like The Witcher in that regard.)

Having your party members turn on you if you ignore them is a BioWare staple. Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights, and possibly even Baulder's Gate did that. (And the gather your party before venturing forth bit has become a staple, too.)

Comparing the game to Fable would be difficult. In Fable you'll probably just play yourself but in Dragon Age the origin stories encourage you to "get into character", so to speak. Fable's battles are pretty simplistic and fast paced. Dragon Age has a lot more complexity, especially when you get above the easy difficulty. Dragon Age makes it fairly clear where you need to go and gives you something of an idea of what you need to do, then lets you figure out just how you're going to do it. Fable drops a golden path right in front of you leading you to the exact spot you need to be. Fable is very black and white. Dragon Age has some black, some white, and a lot of grey tossed around. It's trivial to make money in Fable. You've got to watch your inventory and think about what you are buying in Dragon Age.

So, all in all, Fable is the casual gamer's RPG. Dragon Age is for people to throw themselves into the game.

"...the Law [of Fives] is: All phenomena are directly or indirectly
related to the number five, and this relationship can always be
demonstrated, given enough ingenuity on the part of the demonstrator."

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree Zloth, if only very slightly. While some (note: very few) options have the clear "good guy", "bad guy" choice, there is an unprecedented level of ambiguity in the dialogue options.

For example, (I'm trying to avoid spoilers in here, it's pretty hard), there is one instance where you either choose to slaughter a whole room of possessed humans, or make the extra effort in order to save them. Why is this a hard choice? It's because do you choose to slaughter innocent humans to defend what is laft, or save some in an act of compassion, while still knowing that they present danger unknown.
