Crysis vs. COD4

 Crysis is good but CoD4's singleplayer is much better.

 I prefer Crysis to Call of Duty 4.

Many people say Crysis is overrated, but to me it's the other way around. COD4 does absolutely nothing new but yet it is praised everywhere as being some sort of amazing god of games while Crysis attempts to innovate and is bashed for its system requirements (which are blown out of proportion by non-PC gamers) and its supposedly "standard fare" gameplay.

 Bob I am not going to weigh in on which is better, but honestly, you didnt think crysis's game play wasnt baseline at best? Go here go there shoot this korean shoot that korean. Is this farcray 2 or crysis?

 I haven't played CoD4 so I don't much to say about it.
But Crysis looks good if you got a nVidia 8800gt and up. I can work crysis on my 7800gtx quite well but duu'h it doesnt look nice. It's one of the worst games I've seen when it comes to downscaling.

 Graphics are not a sign of longevity in the field on gaming, in fact, it is the first thing the other games will pass you on in the future. What you need to have is great gameplay or longevity, for many people that means cs and wow (not me). These games didnt have cutting edge graphics but they did have built in features to make them last forever.

 CoD4. While one may argue that in CoD4, you are doing the exact same thing over and over, the gameplay is more polished than in Crysis.

 Well i loved Cod4 and i still play it alot, but i downloaded the crysis demo and it lagged to bad for me to even shoot anything lol, So Cod4 for me but crysis looks so awesome lol

 CoD4 did something very few games do.... It had non-american characters o/

Looked boring as hell to me though, but I hate war shooters and realism in general. Crysis gets my love because apart from ending too soon, playing through it in single player was mostly fun.

The suit thing and the superpowers it gives you are the main reason I enjoyed it though (the other big thing being that vehicles aren't forced upon you - I avoid them usually).

 It just depends on your personal preference I guess. They're both FPSs, but they approach the genre from different angles IMO.
Heavy doesn't like you watching him eat his sandvich...

 CoD4 is awesome!! but Crysis is better :) and i'm not a crysis fanboy i actually dont have it :D

but the gfx and the way you could play the game is really cool :)
