Nice, check it out but i think it'll be frustrating cause you need to know what to do....... watch a youtube tutorial or something and once you get the hang of it, you'll have a lot of fun.

Heh, I wish I would've seen your advice sooner! ;) I started playing last night on the first server I saw, and man, it was way frustrating. I fell over prolly over 10 times! I'd see everyone else surfing around and when I'd try it, I'd just fall lol. So I asked the people on the server, "Hey guys this is my first time how do I surf?" and the answer that I got pretty much was, "STFU and GTFO n00b!" But one person said that I should go look for a tutorial so I did. Then I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was holding down "e" in addition to a/d. Apparently you can't do that for some reason? But yeah it was pretty fun, but as my friend put it, it's a little lame because it's usually a lot of the normal assholes in CS:S + their, "LOL WEE I GO FAST LOLOL!" attitude.

Yep, i knew it. happened to me. lol. I hate those damn immature kids and sadly adults as well that play and think they are freaken gods or something and try to talk down to everybody. All i have to do is put some lead in their brain. But then they strart crying "haxor" and it's a never ending loop. I'm glad you tried it and hope you get into it like i did. |

Haha really? Oh gawd. Yeah same here man. Don't even get me started on the CS:S community hahaha. But yeah i'll admit, surfing gives you an oddly satisfying and fun feeling =P It seems like it would be the type of thing that would just be plain awesome to get some friends together and just have fun with.

Yeh, all I did back when I used to play CSS all the time was surf. I amazingly awesome when you become good at it. But it's gets boring once you pretty much master all the same old maps over time, and that's probably why I haven't surfed since then. I should start surfing again, and by now I assume there are new maps... hopefully. Also, I must agree about all those assholes out there. Everyone pretty much goes through that... sadly.

Ah yeah I see what you mean Dizz. From what I can tell, there's like a select list of Surf maps so I bet that once you master one, it kind of loses its fun (for that particular map at least). But yeah I'm gonna be honest, I started getting fairly decent at CS:S and I think I kind of started becoming one of those elitist jerks that you hear so much about. Then just like 2 days ago, I was thinking, "Wow why am I even playing this? It's like I'm trying to prove something, but I'm not pro so there's nothing really to prove. I'm no having fun at all, why am I playing?" So yeah now my philosophy is, "Why do I play videogames? For enjoyment! Am I enjoying this? Hell no. I'm gonna go play something that I'll have fun with! (Like TF2 :-P)" So now I totally frown upon all those "1337" CS:S players. Now I'd much rather play with some "noobs" and just have a great time than play with the elitists and have no fun at all. Because of this, I've kind of given up CS:S for an indefinite amount of time. I'm not sure when I'll go back to it (if ever lulz), especially when there are such amazing fun-oriented games like TF2. So that's kinda my story with CS:S recently. /rant haha. Also, my friend Sword (who you know) is thinking about trying out CS 1.6 (he hated CS:S) so we'll see how that goes! =P Oh BTW Dizz, love your sig! My friend told me about this site called Pandora.com and so I went there and made a "Children of Bodom" radio/channel. It's been giving me all kinds of great bands but one that has just totally taken my interest right away is Kalmah! They're frickin' amazing! I already got like 3 of their albums now xD

Yeah, Kalmah is by far my favourite band at the moment. I've seen them live about 2 weeks ago, it was awesome. It was their first tour outside of Finland, and I'm sure it won't be the last since they are finally getting the crowds they deserve. I also got thrown on stage while bodysurfing, it was quite funny. Oh man that was so funny/epic when you're on the stage and like throw your hands up in the air then jump back in the crowd xD Yeah my favorite band at the moment is definitely Children of Bodom, but I just found out about Kalmah so who knows... :-P But yeah like I said, pandora.com is showing me all these sick bands haha like: Job For A Cowboy I Killed The Prom Queen Kalmah Norther etc. Yeah sorry for the Off-topicness hahaha
