On topic: From what little I played of CoD4 (which honestly wasn't much - not much of a shooter fan honestly), Martyrdom seemed like it was pretty well balanced. Me, I much preferred other perks, like Last Stand.

Martyrdom is decent and like Zorloc said you should just run away from who you kill, just to be sure. And it was of course MY opinion, so you can back off a little. And i'm not going to "loot" their corpse, but I just happen to run by the people I kill...the ONLY time i've ever liked martyr is when I was a noob and had it as a perk. :3

You just admitted that you freely run at people that you kill which means you freely run into marty. Who's fault is that? the person using it, or the person running into it? Oh, this belongs in the Call of Duty forum.
