I vote for F.E.A.R. 2. Even though my friends played Silent Hill series and they say that game is more scary then F.E.A.R.
The Path is the first game to scare me in years--and I mean scary enough to melt my brain--and does it in incredibly creative ways most games don't and just can't compete with. It's freaking unpredictable and Lynchian, to boot. Unfortunately, barely anybody knows about it.
And please, can we be serious about this challenge? Stop putting crap like "LOLZ ELMO LOLZ UR MOM" in here.

Why hasn't anyone actually put up Doom 3? Shit that game was/still is scary, especially at night.

Silent Hill 2 gave me the heebie jeebies, and there is a few times in BioShock that weirded me out. Left4Dead isn't that scary at all.

Why is BioShock even in the top 3? I mean, sure, it had its moments but, overall, it wasn't all that scary if you ask me.
