Definitely Psycho's your man. Fearless, damn strong (don't mock about him having the Nanosuit, he's a former SAS operative) and he deals with an awful lot of aliens all by himself. Who can do that?
Alex Mercer isn't a "hero", he's a protagonist. He's seriously more of an anti-hero.
